Duathlon

Luckily the weather played its' part today.  Everyone had a great afternoon. Here are some photos at the beginning and some at the end of the race.

Science in a Van

Science in a Van

The year 2 classes had a wonderful time making scientific observations and predictions. Some was to do with bubbles, mixing,dry ice. We blew hard to keep our bubbles from popping.

House of Bricks

Everyone had a fabulous time with House of Bricks.  The children were very reluctant to pack up.  Lots of working together to come up with ideas, team work and problem solving. 

Ballroom Dancing

Room 11 have been enjoying ballroom dancing with Dr Joyce and Miss Helen. They are becoming experts at their steps and dancing in time to the music. 

Statistics in Room 11

Room 11 have been learning about Statistics. We have used new words such as tally chart, gathering data and graphs. We've used the graph to decide questions like the most or least from our data. Here are some photos of the children gathering data.

 

Getting To Know Each Other

 

 

Room 11 played a game with wool to get to know each other. We held onto a piece of the wool, shared our name and something about ourselves. At the end we had a spider web and we all knew more about each other and each other's names.
